Visual Interpreter

Job Summary

Providing real-time visual assistance, the part-time Visual Interpreter will engage with blind and low vision customers during live video calls, offering personalized support and information while working remotely on weekends.

Key responsibilities:

• Clearly and accurately present on-demand visual information to customers
• Consistently answer calls while scheduled and maintain a professional demeanor
• Engage in team-building exercises and support fellow Visual Interpreters

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Fluency in English
• Legal right to work in the United States or Canada
• Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps and a private workspace free from distractions
