Visualization and Digital Communication Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Global Risk Center, the full-time remote Visualization and Digital Communication Specialist will produce original visualizations of conflict patterns, create publishable quality maps and graphics, and innovate on ACLED's visual reporting and brand identity.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and refine visualizations for conflict analysis and thematic outputs
- Research and implement new data visualization methods and software
- Collaborate with media and external stakeholders to enhance outreach efforts
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Political Science, Social Sciences, Geography, Conflict Studies, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in a research environment
- Proven experience with ACLED data and familiarity with Tableau software and GIS
- Fluency in English and strong writing and editing skills
- Experience in conflict analysis and strong critical thinking abilities
