Job Summary

A company is looking for a Visuals Editor to join their editorial visuals team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the art director and visuals team to create impactful story presentations
• Commission and oversee the production of visuals, including illustrations and photography
• Develop visual storyboards and project briefs while experimenting with innovative formats and artists

Required Qualifications

• At least four years of professional experience in visual journalism, including design and photography
• Prior experience working in a newsroom is required
• Strong understanding of visual ethics and news judgment
• Proficiency in visual design tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, and Figma
• Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS; experience with JavaScript and other dev tools is a plus
