VLSI Circuit Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VLSI Circuit Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to define physical design specifications for mixed signal circuits
• Perform floor planning, power planning, and placement of digital and analog blocks
• Troubleshoot and resolve physical design issues and implement design changes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 3+ years of experience or a master's degree with 2+ years of experience
• 3+ years of experience in VLSI Design
• Proficiency in VLSI design tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso, HSPICE, and ADE
• Strong understanding of physical design methodologies and tools (Primetime, StarRC, Redhawk)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, TCL, Perl) for automation
