VMware Administrator

Job Summary

To support a large-scale VMware environment, the contract VMware Administrator will manage and maintain over 1000 VMs, perform troubleshooting and capacity planning, and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions in a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a large-scale VMware vSphere environment, including vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN
• Perform performance monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting of complex VMware issues
• Automate VMware tasks using PowerShell and PowerCLI while ensuring security compliance

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a VMware Administrator in large enterprise environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification is a plus
• Expert knowledge of VMware vSphere, vSAN, and related technologies
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and PowerCLI
