VMware Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting and maintaining enterprise-level VMware environments, the fully remote VMware Infrastructure Engineer will troubleshoot complex issues across virtualization, storage, networking, and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments in large-scale production settings
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues involving virtualization, storage, networking, and system performance
- Administer VMware clusters, including High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and virtual machine lifecycle management
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
- Experience managing VMware clusters in enterprise or large-scale production environments
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage and enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience troubleshooting virtualization, storage, networking, and performance-related issues
- Familiarity with VMware networking, including vSwitches, distributed switches, and VLANs
