VMware Platform Engineer

Job Summary

VMware Platform Engineer, a full-time remote position requiring over 5 years of experience, responsible for designing, deploying, and operating VMware-based virtualization and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and operate VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX environments across data centers and hybrid cloud deployments
• Build and maintain Tanzu Kubernetes Grid environments for containerized workloads
• Implement automation for VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
• Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking
