VMware Platform Engineer
Job Summary
VMware Platform Engineer, responsible for designing, deploying, and operating VMware-based virtualization and software-defined networking platforms in a full-time remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and operate VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX environments across data centers and hybrid cloud deployments
- Build and maintain Tanzu Kubernetes Grid environments for containerized workloads
- Implement automation for VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience
- Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
- Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management
- Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking
