VMware Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing technology team, the full-time VMware Platform Engineer will design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization and networking platforms in a 100% remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and operate VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX environments across data centers and hybrid cloud deployments
- Implement vRealize / Aria Automation for self-service VM provisioning and lifecycle management
- Build automation for VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience
- Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
- Hands-on experience with vSAN and NSX-T networking
- Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling
