VMware Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time VMware Platform Engineer will design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization and cloud environments remotely, focusing on automation and capacity management while ensuring the smooth operation of enterprise-scale VMware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX environments across hybrid cloud deployments
• Implement vRealize / Aria Automation for VM provisioning and lifecycle management
• Build automation for VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking
• Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling
