VMware System Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on designing and implementing network segmentation and virtualization, the full-time VMware System Engineer will manage VMware vSphere environments, support disaster recovery solutions, and automate operational tasks in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN
• Implement and support Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and disaster recovery solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex datacenter and hybrid infrastructure projects

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with VMware technologies, including NSX-T and Live Recovery Manager (SRM)
• Strong expertise in Layer 2 and 3 physical and virtual networking
• Proven experience in designing secure VMware virtualization environments
• Solid understanding of Microsoft technology, including Active Directory
• VMware VCP or VCAP certifications, and CCNA and CCNP certifications are a plus
