Voice Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Voice Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and update PSAP network builds and configurations
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to support deployments and troubleshoot network issues
• Conduct traffic studies and generate monthly network capacity reports for E9-1-1 voice and peering equipment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years in technical support, network planning, or telephony networking
• Hands-on experience with protocols such as SIP, CAMA, and SS7
• Familiarity with basic UNIX commands
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
