VoIP Network Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a VoIP Network Engineer (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SIP-based voice network infrastructure and make recommendations to leadership
- Manage vendor relationships and provide hardware and software design recommendations for VOIP elements
- Conduct Tier 4 troubleshooting of SIP-based network elements and services
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
- Five years of experience in telecommunications related to VOIP engineering
- Expert understanding of SIP, RTP, RTCP, and DTMF interworking
- Experience with vendor management and technical management of advanced VOIP solutions
- Familiarity with troubleshooting platforms and tools such as Empirix and Wireshark
