VoIP Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support government clients, the remote VoIP Network Engineer will analyze existing VoIP networks, develop architecture plans for voice and data services, and troubleshoot network issues while ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with IT managers to determine networking needs and develop architecture plans
• Install network hardware and design Cisco Unity Systems
• Analyze and upgrade network security systems while troubleshooting VoIP network issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field
• Previous experience as a VoIP network engineer
• In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP protocols
• Familiarity with WAN and LAN systems
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
