VoIP Network Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting government customers remotely, the full-time VoIP Network Engineer will analyze existing VoIP networks, develop architecture plans, and troubleshoot network issues while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Meet with IT managers to assess networking needs and develop architecture plans for voice and data services
- Install network hardware, including IP and PBX communication servers, and design Cisco Unity Systems
- Analyze and upgrade network security systems while training staff on network and system protocols
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- Previous experience as a VoIP network engineer
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP protocols
- Familiarity with WAN and LAN systems
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
