Volunteer Selection Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing volunteer program, the part-time Volunteer Selection Specialist will review applications, conduct interviews, and recommend candidates for volunteer roles, working remotely from designated states until June 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of volunteer programs to assess and select high-quality candidates
- Conduct and evaluate interviews for Leadership Coach volunteers using established guidelines
- Make selection recommendations based on evidence and maintain accurate records in Salesforce
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in hiring, interviewing, or recruiting
- Exceptional judgment for making detailed, rubric-based selection recommendations
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Salesforce, and Zoom
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in professional settings
