VP FP A Financial Planning Head

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Financial Planning and Analysis (Head of FP&A).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the effort to scale the support provided by FP&A team and build a culture of data-driven decision making
• Own and drive company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
• Perform Return on Investment analyses for new products and ad-hoc analyses as needed

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or an Engineering degree with an MBA
• 12+ years of work experience, preferably within a growing SAAS or startup business
• Excellent financial modeling capabilities
• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting including software revenue recognition
• Experience working with senior leadership, company controller, and leading across departments or functions
