VP Implementation Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the engineering vision and strategy, the full-time remote VP Implementation Engineer will oversee the implementation engineering function, ensuring the production of reliable AI/ML systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate AI strategy into scalable engineering execution, ensuring safety, observability, and compliance of AI systems
• Architect and govern AI/ML system designs, including multi-agent flows and hybrid architectures
• Build and develop a multi-team AI/ML engineering organization, setting technical standards and fostering a culture of rigorous delivery

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and/or automation engineering experience
• 8+ years of people leadership experience, including managing other leaders
• Demonstrated experience in building production-grade AI and/or ML systems
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
• College degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent practical experience
