VP of AI

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on, visionary VP of AI, the full-time remote position will architect, code, and lead the development of AI systems for autonomous manufacturing, shaping the company's technical architecture and product direction.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the AI organization, recruiting and mentoring a world-class team while engaging in hands-on technical work
• Lead the design and development of intelligence layers that enable machines to autonomously interpret manufacturing intent and generate corrective actions
• Create scalable data infrastructure and simulation environments for training and testing autonomous correction models

Required qualifications

• Proven experience building and managing an AI organization while actively contributing to the codebase
• 10+ years of experience in AI, software engineering, machine learning architecture, or related fields
• Direct experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or industrial systems
• Deep expertise in designing and building production-grade AI and software infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
