VP of AI and Data Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of an AI roadmap, the full-time remote VP of AI and Data Engineering will manage a team of engineers and data scientists to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions while collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing team to build Generative AI and machine learning capabilities
• Define and own the technical strategy for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Architect robust data pipelines and enforce data quality standards to support AI workloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field; MS degree or PhD preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or machine learning, with 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Hands-on experience with production AI systems, particularly in B2B SaaS cloud environments
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks and data engineering platforms
• Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments with a focus on technical contribution and leadership
