VP of AI and Data Strategy

Job Summary

Leading the Data Science, AI, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence functions, the full-time remote VP of AI and Data Strategy will set multi-year strategies, manage technical teams, and drive cross-functional partnerships to optimize supply chain operations and enhance customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Set the multi-year strategy for machine learning, data, and business intelligence, aligning investments with customer needs and competitive insights
• Build and scale the Data Science, AI, Data Engineering, and BI Engineering organization, focusing on leadership development and technical hiring standards
• Own the architecture and operation of production machine learning systems, ensuring high-quality analytics and reporting capabilities

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or data engineering, including 5 years in a leadership role managing teams
• Demonstrated experience in building or scaling a data or AI organization, including budget ownership and operating model maturity
• Strong knowledge of modern ML and data stacks, including experience with ML frameworks and production predictive modeling
• Familiarity with LLM application development, orchestration frameworks, and prompt engineering
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field preferred
