VP of Analytics

Job Summary

Leading the analytics function remotely, the full-time VP of Analytics will build and manage a team responsible for defining data metrics, developing analytical infrastructure, and driving an AI-native analytics experience across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the single source of truth for business metrics and own the analytics engineering function
• Manage embedded business analysts, understanding departmental workflows and proactively building data products to enhance performance
• Establish a prioritization framework for analytical work, balancing ad hoc requests with infrastructure investments and proactive insights

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive analytics leadership experience, including management of analytics engineers and business analysts in a B2B SaaS environment
• Experience building and scaling embedded analytics models with a strong understanding of the modern data stack, including dbt and BI tools
• Proven ability to act as a product manager for analytics functions, mapping workflows and making prioritization decisions
• Experience partnering with C-level stakeholders, demonstrating strong executive presence and business acumen
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-enabled analytics and a clear vision for how AI can enhance the analytics function
