Job Summary
To support growth in the Southeast market, the remote VP of Business Development will manage existing client relationships and develop new middle-market business opportunities in commercial finance, particularly in factoring and asset-based lending.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and expand the established Southeast client base while generating new client relationships
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure a smooth transition from a retiring market leader
- Drive revenue growth by focusing on industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, and textiles
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial finance, asset-based lending, or factoring
- Strong understanding of financial statements and working capital needs
- Demonstrated success in business development and generating new client relationships
- Experience with middle-market clients and business owners
- Established network in the Southeast, particularly in the Carolinas
