VP of Cloud Engineering

Job Summary

Leading cloud platform strategy and modernization initiatives, the full-time remote VP of Cloud Engineering will drive cloud transformation, oversee migrations to Azure and AWS, and ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the enterprise cloud engineering strategy, aligning it with business and technology objectives
• Lead end-to-end migrations of applications and workloads from on-premises to cloud environments, including planning and execution
• Establish and enforce standards for Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automated provisioning to enable repeatable delivery

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures and core services across Azure and AWS
• Proven expertise in large-scale data center-to-cloud migration programs
• 15+ years of experience in building and scaling cloud-native platforms
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation
