VP of Construction Claims

Job Summary

Leading the Construction & Infrastructure Claims Team, the full-time remote VP of Construction Claims will provide operational direction, manage complex claims portfolios, and serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and internal teams to enhance service delivery and strategic coordination across construction-related claims.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational direction for the Construction Claims Team, managing and mentoring team members
• Oversee complex construction claims portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives and effective claims management strategies
• Serve as a senior escalation point for high-exposure claims, guiding internal teams on coverage strategy and resolution planning

Required qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in construction claims or complex commercial casualty with leadership responsibilities
• Extensive knowledge of construction-related insurance programs and claims advocacy
• Proven track record in managing and developing teams, ensuring performance and quality
• Strong strategic and operational leadership skills with experience in claims management protocols
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
