VP of Cybersecurity Operations
Job Summary
Leading the organization's cybersecurity strategy, the remote VP of Cybersecurity Operations will define, implement, and oversee enterprise cybersecurity initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy
- Direct cybersecurity operations, risk management, cloud security, incident response, and security architecture initiatives
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and governance frameworks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, and information technology disciplines
- 5+ years of experience in senior cybersecurity leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST
- Experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks including HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI DSS, and GDPR
