VP of Data Analytics

Job Summary

Hands-on and strategic, the full-time VP of Data Analytics will lead the data science, analytics, and data product functions, driving data-driven decision-making and AI enablement in a remote role while ensuring data becomes a competitive advantage for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for data science, analytics, and data products, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Build and lead a multi-tier organization, directly managing Director- and Senior Director-level leaders across data functions
• Establish data governance frameworks and ensure data quality and compliance, driving measurable business outcomes through effective data practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, data science, or a related technical field
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise data, data science, analytics, or data product within fintech or regulated financial services
• 7+ years in senior leadership roles, with direct management of Director-level leaders and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in modern cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Proven track record of implementing enterprise data governance and quality frameworks in production environments
