VP of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own retrieval systems for AI agents to reason over ERP data
• Build the core data platform, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving layers
• Define data governance policies and ensure compliance with financial data requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience building and leading a data engineering team
• Knowledge of knowledge graph or Master Data Management (MDM) at scale
• Experience with AI/ML platforms or LLMOps, including embedding pipelines and vector stores
• Strong understanding of schema design and retrieval architecture
• Ability to work in ambiguous, greenfield environments
