VP of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Engineering to scale its engineering organization through technical leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO to define and execute engineering strategy and hiring plans
• Manage team leads, including career development and performance management
• Participate in architecture reviews and respond to production incidents

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on technical leadership
• Deep expertise in backend services, cloud infrastructure, data systems, and frontend architecture
• Experience managing engineering managers or tech leads
• Proficiency in Go and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Redis, Firestore, and cloud-native database patterns
