VP of Finance and Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP Finance & Operations to lead its finance, accounting, and business operations infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the controllership function, including monthly close and audit management
• Build financial infrastructure for commercial launch, including inventory tracking and gross margin reporting
• Maintain financial models and lead program valuation to support capital allocation and investor communications

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years in biotech, pharma, or life sciences
• Experience managing people and building teams in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to present financial results and capital strategy to a board audience
• Experience with R&D-heavy products and understanding of audit preparation
• Familiarity with financial automation tools and ERP systems is preferred
