VP of FP&A
Job Summary
To support a fast-growing private equity-backed software company, the remote VP of FP&A will manage forecasting, P&L reporting, and financial modeling while overseeing a team of approximately 15 and guiding the company through a sale transaction.
Key responsibilities
- Support the company through a successful sale/transaction, interfacing with the PE Sponsor and potential buyers
- Quickly gain a deep understanding of the business, including forecasting, sales cycles, and revenue recognition
- Lead P&L reporting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial models and systems
Required qualifications
- 15+ years in FP&A/Leadership with a focus on forecasting and financial analysis
- Familiarity with FP&A in On-Prem Software (Subscription-Based Recurring Revenue) environments
- Experience in network infrastructure/security software companies
- Background in organizations with 500+ employees and $200M+ revenue
- Experience under Private Equity Sponsors, particularly in M&A/Transaction contexts
