VP of FP&A

Job Summary

To support a fast-growing private equity-backed company, the remote VP of FP&A will manage the financial planning and analysis functions, oversee due diligence for a potential sale, and lead a team while focusing on forecasting and revenue recognition in a complex SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the company through a successful due diligence and transaction process over the next 18 months, interfacing with the PE Sponsor and potential buyers
• Quickly gain a deep understanding of the business, including forecasting, sales cycles, revenue recognition, and operational complexities
• Leverage financial modeling tools to lead P&L reporting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency

Required qualifications

• 15+ years in FP&A or leadership roles within the tech sector, focusing on forecasting and financial modeling
• Proven experience leading successful transactions in a similar environment
• Familiarity with FP&A in on-prem software or subscription-based recurring revenue models
• Experience applying AI tools for process improvement and workflow automation
• Background in banking, consulting, or due diligence is a plus
