VP of Information Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Information Security to guide their Information Security and IT functions during a high-growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing InfoSec and IT team while advising executive leadership on security and compliance strategy
• Maintain HITRUST certification and SOC 2 Type II attestation, overseeing risk management and security incident response
• Ensure reliable IT operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security in business processes

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading Information Security in a HIPAA-compliant, high-growth tech environment with 100+ employees
• Proven success with HITRUST certification and SOC 2 Type II attestation
• Background in telehealth or digital healthcare is required
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud environments, SIEM tools, and incident response leadership
• CISSP preferred; CRISC or strong risk management background is a plus
