VP of Non-QM Underwriting

Job Summary

VP of Non-QM Underwriting is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting the Underwriting department, managing escalations and complex scenarios, and providing guidance to the underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite conventional and government loans while maintaining service level agreements
• Provide solutions for complex underwriting scenarios and assist in special projects
• Mentor and coach underwriting staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to standards

Required Qualifications

• Direct Endorsement status from HUD and/or SAR authority from VA, experience with USDA preferred
• 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting Experience with agency guideline knowledge preferred
• 3+ years of Underwriting management experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Working knowledge of ATR/QM requirements
