VP of Robotics Software

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Robotics Software to lead the development of core software systems for robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of the full robotics software stack, ensuring robust and intelligent robot behavior
• Drive the integration of perception, planning, and control components for operation in complex environments
• Recruit and mentor engineering talent while fostering a collaborative culture and setting technical strategy

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in delivering production robotics systems with real-world deployment
• 15+ years of experience in robotics software, including 5 years in leadership roles
• Deep expertise in areas such as whole-body control, SLAM, sensor fusion, or autonomous navigation
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop mature engineering processes
