VP of Security

Job Summary

To define and enhance security in an AI-native environment, the remote VP of Security will manage security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining existing strong security fundamentals.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Oversee security engineering efforts, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives and security compliance for fundraising and customer engagements

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Proficiency in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
