VP of Software Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the platform engineering vision, the full-time remote VP of Software Engineering will define and execute strategies for application development, AI platforms, and enterprise integrations while building high-performance teams and driving innovation in cloud-native technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the platform strategy, including vision, roadmap, and operating model
• Build enterprise-grade application platforms and lead the development of foundational services
• Oversee the agentic AI platform, enabling teams to develop AI-powered features and transforming the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with significant leadership in enterprise SaaS and platform engineering
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering organizations at senior director, VP, or equivalent levels
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Ruby on Rails, Node, Python, and PostgreSQL
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technical strategy and measurable outcomes
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on building high-performance teams and developing technical talent
