Job Summary
Building and scaling the direct sales motion for a software platform, the full-time remote VP of Software Sales will own revenue targets, hire and ramp sales teams, and design the sales process from outreach to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the revenue targets for the software sales motion, including pipeline and conversion metrics
- Hire, onboard, and ramp Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs), establishing performance benchmarks
- Design and document the end-to-end sales process, including outreach strategies and deal stages
Required Qualifications:
- Direct SaaS sales leadership experience with IT, MSP, or security buyers in mid-market companies
- Proven experience as a VP or Director of Sales with direct ownership of revenue targets
- Demonstrated success in hiring and ramping SDRs and AEs from the ground up
- Experience with B2B sales cycles of 60 to 180 days
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to lead demos and executive presentations
