VP of Underwriting (Non-Agency)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Underwriting (Non-Agency).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite conventional and government loans while maintaining service level agreements
• Provide guidance and solutions for complex underwriting scenarios and escalations
• Manage a team of underwriters and assist in special projects as directed by management

Required Qualifications

• Direct Endorsement status from HUD and/or SAR authority from VA, with USDA experience preferred
• 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting Experience (FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional) with agency guideline knowledge preferred
• 3+ years of Underwriting management experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Working knowledge of ATR/QM requirements and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
