VT Licensed Workers Compensation Examiner
Job Summary
To analyze Workers Compensation Lost-Time claims effectively, the full-time VT Licensed Workers Compensation Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with clients and claimants, while working remotely across various jurisdictions including VT, CT, MA, NH, and RI.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzing and processing claims to ensure timely resolution through investigation and information gathering
- Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority limits
- Communicating claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation laws in VT, CT, MA, NH, and RI
- VT Workers Compensation Examiner license required
- Professional certification related to the line of business preferred
