Vulnerability Assessment Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst (Database) - Mid.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability scanning against databases and coordinate scans with relevant personnel
• Monitor and troubleshoot scans, ensuring data accuracy and developing new testing programs
• Create and distribute scan reports, including metrics on vulnerability posture over time

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, and proficiency with AWS RDS, Azure SQL, and PostgreSQL
• Proven experience in vulnerability scanning and security testing
• In-depth knowledge of scanning tools such as Tenable Security Center and Nessus Scanner
• Experience supporting Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems
