Vulnerability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vulnerability Engineer to join their Vulnerability Management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform recurring and on-demand scanning of organizational systems and cloud environments
• Research and assess emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend security controls
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement remediation plans and monitor progress

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in vulnerability management or related fields
• Experience in vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security technologies
• In-depth knowledge of information security best practices and technical concepts
• Professional certification such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python
