Vulnerability Management Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance cybersecurity measures, the full-time Vulnerability Management Analyst will conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze results, and prioritize remediation efforts in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability scanning of networks, servers, and applications using approved tools
• Analyze scan results to identify vulnerabilities and assess associated risks
• Track vulnerabilities through remediation and validate effectiveness of fixes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in vulnerability management or IT risk within a regulated environment
• Preferred GIAC (GSEC or GEVA) certification, to be completed within 6 months of hire
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7
• Strong understanding of network, operating system, and application vulnerabilities, as well as patch management processes
