Vulnerability Management Analyst

Job Summary

To support enterprise vulnerability operations, the remote Vulnerability Management Analyst III will validate findings, assess risks, coordinate remediation efforts, and drive the reduction of security exposure across various environments.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and triage vulnerability findings from various sources, including internal and external scans
• Engage with technology stakeholders throughout the vulnerability lifecycle, ensuring effective remediation and risk-based escalation
• Identify recurring risk patterns and recommend improvements to processes and tools for better remediation outcomes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in vulnerability management across cloud and container environments
• Experience in enterprise environments, particularly in payment card industry or financial services
• Strong understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle and related regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools or languages such as Python, PowerShell, or SQL
