Vulnerability Management Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vulnerability Management Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, review, and interpret assessment and scanning results, reducing false positives and advising customers
• Collaborate with teams to create tactical and strategic plans while maintaining knowledge of vulnerability management issues
• Provide guidance on vulnerability assessment scanning, false positive validation, and compliance scanning using relevant tools

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a technical security support role
• Strong network engineering experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, and network infrastructure administration
• Experience with Vulnerability Management platforms such as QualysGuard, Nessus, or Rapid 7
• Ability to provide guidance and support for vulnerability remediation scenarios
• One or more relevant certifications such as CISSP, GPEN, GCIH, or CEH are desired but not mandatory
