Job Summary
Supporting a complex federal Identity and Access Management program, the full-time Vulnerability Management Operator will manage security vulnerability scans, develop remediation strategies, and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and manage regular security vulnerability scans of IAM systems, applications, and databases, analyzing results and developing remediation plans
- Support federal compliance assessments and develop corrective action plans while tracking remediation efforts
- Monitor and maintain IAM Cybersecurity Framework Risk Scorecard rating, notifying stakeholders of compliance gaps and providing remediation recommendations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 8 years of experience in vulnerability management and security compliance
- Expertise in using industry-standard scanning tools for vulnerability assessments
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as FISMA and NIST
- Experience with Continuous Diagnostics and Monitoring (CDM) and managing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
