Job Summary
Leading the end-to-end remediation of vulnerabilities, the full-time Vulnerability Remediation Engineer will operate primarily remotely, focusing on securing applications and infrastructure within AWS GovCloud while analyzing vulnerability findings and executing remediation efforts across cloud-native environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze and prioritize vulnerability findings from various security tools based on risk and exploitability
- Execute remediation efforts on React and NodeJS applications, including patching and configuration updates
- Manage and secure Kubernetes (EKS) environments, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 security controls
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or vulnerability management
- Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud, EKS/Kubernetes security, and CI/CD pipeline security
- Proven experience remediating vulnerabilities in React and NodeJS environments
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
