Job Summary

A company is looking for a Home Equity Lending Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze home equity loan applications for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate borrowers' credit histories, income sources, and collateral to determine loan eligibility
• Manage the underwriting pipeline and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in real estate underwriting or a related field
• Experience in a credit union or financial institution is required
• In-depth knowledge of residential lending regulations and underwriting guidelines
• Proficient in using real estate lending software and financial analysis tools
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements and property valuations
