WAMS Technical Resource

Job Summary

To support a utility client in Seattle, the remote WAMS Technical Resource will manage enhancements, maintenance, and data operations within the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAMS) environment while enabling secure file-based integrations to Oracle Cloud on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and maintain backend processes within Oracle Utilities WAMS v1.9x
• Develop and document reusable patterns for data extraction, transformation, and integration
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical logic and backend data flows

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities WAM (preferably v1.9x)
• Strong backend development skills including SQL, data extraction, and ETL workflows
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments
• Experience supporting or migrating file-based integrations to Oracle Cloud Object Storage
