WAMS Technical Resource

Job Summary

To support a growing utility client, the remote contract WAMS Technical Resource will manage enhancements, maintenance, and data operations within the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAMS) environment, focusing on backend development and secure integrations to Oracle Cloud.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and maintain backend processes within Oracle Utilities WAMS v1.9x and develop reusable patterns for data extraction and integration
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to document functional processes and translate requirements into technical logic and backend data flows
• Develop SQL queries and Shell scripts for automation, data processing, and secure file transfers while ensuring compliance with architectural and security standards

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities WAM (preferably v1.9x)
• Strong backend development skills including SQL, data extraction, and ETL workflows
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments
• Experience with file-based integrations and migration to Oracle Cloud Object Storage
